The City of West Melbourne is committed to growing and improving the recreational offerings of the City. Under the direction of the Recreation Director, the City offers programs for children, youth and adults. These programs include exercise, art, music, dance and education. Please check the menu to the left for available recreational and educational programs.

Recreation Director Erin Murphy is responsible for initiating and implementing the recreation programs for the City, which are headquartered in the Veterans Memorial Complex (former City Hall) at 2285 Minton Road. She is assisted by a full-time Special Projects Coordinator, a full-time Administrative Support Specialist, a full-time Special Population Coordinator, a full-time Recreation Worker, a part-time Recreation Worker, and is advised by the City’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

Municipal Parks

For your outdoor activities, the City has seven municipal parks within the City. Amenities vary from park to park; be sure to check out the amazing leisure opportunities our City has to offer.
